In the church of Saint Spyridonas there is a part of his right hand, inside a silver case as well as his shoes.


It is worth noting that in the church is preserved as a valuable treasure, the Holy and Miraculous Icon of St. Spyridon, which history is very important for the area. During the Cretan revolution of 1889, while the Temple was plundered and looted by the Turks, all of its Icons and Sacred Objects were burned and destroyed. This image, on the contrary, has been preserved, and to this day, residents say it is miraculous.


This icon was made in Russia by a Russian hagiographer in 1866 at the expense of Ioannis Rokakis. Nowadays the image is covered with precious silver shirt and on it there are many valuables dedicated to priests and citizens.
