The first time one of Aston Martin’s classic cars appeared alongside Ian Fleming’s world-famous agent was in the 1964 film Goldfinger starring Sean Connery. In Fleming’s book, the 007 actually drives a DB Mark III, but in the cinematic adaptation it drives a silver DB5.
